Fayetteville Main Street presents the Slawburger Festival in Fayetteville, Tennessee–home of the Famous Slawburger.

Fayetteville is nestled in the heart of Southern Middle Tennessee, south of Nashville and just north of Huntsville, Alabama. Our small town embodies Southern hospitality and charm, and you will find a friendly face on every corner and in every shop.

Our Downtown Square is the backbone of our community. We have over 70 businesses in the Downtown District–restaurants, antique stores, florists, boutiques, home decor and furniture stores, a children’s clothing shop, medical spas, art galleries, AirBNBs, a pharmacy, and MORE! In addition to our everyday merchants, the Slawburger Festival hosts a variety of vendors on the interior of the square from 10AM-7PM.

The Slawburger originated right here on our square in the 1920s at Honey’s Restaurant which is still serving slawburgers today. Our town has a rich history with the unique sweet and tangy mustard-based slaw served on an all-beef patty.

Since 2015, the festival has served as a way to share those stories, create new memories, or revisit old ones from the past. Come visit us on April 19th, 2025 at the Historic Fayetteville Downtown Square for the Annual Slawburger Festival.

We can’t wait to have you as our guest!
